(a) The “S” signal is a system which includes the starter and steering lock and allows, when the ignition is turned off and without removing the key from the steering wheel and ignition switch, the activation of certain electrical components, including, but not limited to, the radio, ceiling lamp, etc. This function is disabled when the key is removed from the steering wheel and ignition switch.
