To reset the message indicator “SERVICE” or “SERVICE IN …“, which appears on the central instrument panel screen in the Audi A4 B6, Sedan, Avant or CabrioletFollow the instructions:
- Press and hold the service button (the button with the key icon).
- Turn on the ignition while holding down the service button.
- When the service appears on the screen again, press the “0,0” audi_a4_b6_service_light_resetuntil the display is restarted and shows –.
And that’s all, the service message indicator should be off and a new service interval has been set.
The instructions in this tutorial will work for the next few model years:
Audi A4 B6 gasoline (1.6, 1.8, 2.0, 2.4 and 3.0) and diesel engines (1.9 TDI and 2.5 TDI) and S4 from model years 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.
