Fuses for the cigarette lighter/cigarette lighter socket on an Opel Astra J are fuses #6 (front socket), #7 (rear socket), #26 (power socket charging compartment) in the instrument panel fuse box and fuse #17 (power socket) in the fuse box in the cargo compartment.
Location of the fuse box
Engine compartment
The fuse box is located in the front left of the engine compartment.
Remove the cover and fold it down until it stops. Remove the cover vertically upwards.
Dashboard
In vehicles with the steering wheel on the left side, the fuse holder is located behind the glove box in the instrument panel.
Open the compartment and slide it to the left to unlock it. Fold up the camera and remove it. Open the storage compartment, then open the lid and fold it down.
Fuse box in the cargo compartment (trunk)
Location of fuses in the luggage compartment:
3-door hatch, 5-door hatch:
The fuse box is located on the left side of the cargo compartment behind the lid.
Sport Tourist:
The fuse box is located on the left side of the cargo compartment behind the lid.
Fuse box in the engine compartment
The fuse box is located in the front left of the engine compartment. Remove the cover and tilt it upwards until it stops. Remove the cover vertically upward.

Instrument panel fuse box
In vehicles with the steering wheel on the left side, the fuse box is located behind the glove box in the instrument panel. Open the compartment and push it to the left to unlock it. Lower the compartment and remove it.
On vehicles with the steering wheel on the right-hand side, the fuse box is located behind the cover in the handy storage compartment. Open the handy storage compartment, open the cover and fold it down.
